This is a giclée print of a watercolor painting using my original technique. One day while creating a watercolor "pour", a hair fell into the wet paint creating a frosty looking line in the color. I learned to enhance the effect with sea salt and to uncover images by painting into the dried surface. This time, the colors and curves created by the hair suggested azalea flowers.
The image is printed on arches hotpress watercolor paper using archival inks. It is packaged in a clear bag with matboard for support.
